If what you need isn't in our catalogue, we can build it into your drawing.
In most cases, yes. We make branch kits in more than 15 series, each matched to the dimensions and pressure requirements of a leading VRF or VRV platform. Send us your indoor and outdoor unit model numbers, and we will confirm the right kit before you order.
The brazing alloy depends on the part. Our VRF branch piping kits are brazed with BCuP-6, a 2% silver copper-phosphorus rod. Headers and our other copper assemblies are brazed with 5% silver rods. All brazing is done under a nitrogen purge, with induction brazing where the part suits it. The nitrogen keeps oxide scales from forming inside the joint. That matters because scale can travel through the system and damage compressors and expansion valves.
If your 5% silver rods are also to the AWS standard, their designation is BCuP-3. You could name it the same way, as "BCuP-3, a 5% silver rod", so the two alloys read consistently. I dropped the earlier line about not needing flux, since it is simpler to leave out now that the answer covers two alloys.
We work with OEMs, HVAC contractors and installers, MEP consultants, distributors, aftermarket suppliers and custom system builders. Some order standard kits in volume, and others need a single part developed from scratch.
