In a VRF system each branch point has a task to complete. Split the refrigerant flow without upsetting the balance of the system. This crucial link is the basis of the 227 Enterprise SAM Series, which integrates precision-formed copper Y-joints with matching reduction fittings to suit various pipe sizes and system needs. The multi-step reduction design and uniform body structure provide the installer with more options for their desired pipe connection, while minimising needless job site fabrication and adjustment. The result is a cleaner piping structure, a more controlled installation, and a stable refrigerant path between the outdoor unit and many indoor units. The SAM Series is engineered for demanding residential, commercial and industrial VRF applications and is designed to provide smooth refrigerant distribution while helping minimise excessive pressure losses via the branch.
There is more to engineering than just the form of the joint. Each SAM Series assembly is hydrostatically tested at 5.2 MPa and undergoes a series of quality checks before delivery to assure connection integrity and leak resistance. The branch assemblies are made from refrigeration-grade copper components to ensure uniform internal geometry and durable brazed connections in the refrigerant circuit. The SAM Series can be configured with adequate insulation arrangements and can also assist in controlling condensation and thermal transfer around the branch connection. Dimensional control, reducer fitting, pressure integrity and every other feature is engineered to make installation more predictable and system performance more dependable.

A VRF branch junction is a simple thing but it may make a tremendous difference on site if it’s done correctly. At 227 Enterprise we build the SAM Series with meticulous attention to the elements that matter in practical installations. Each junction is carefully formed, dimensionally inspected and pressure tested. Precision chamfered edges for ease of pipe insertion and cleaner brazing. The joints are made from high grade copper and are brazed using a 2% Silver Harris brazing rod and nitrogen purging to help keep a clean interior surface during the brazing operation. The SAM Series is designed for demanding VRF applications, and built with RoHS compliant manufacturing and a standard operating pressure of 725 psi. Cut-to-fit inlet design fits different pipe diameters, eliminating the need for extra brazed reducers and making installation faster and more practical. 227 Enterprise is dedicated to providing branch joints that fit right, install easily and work reliably over the long haul.
