CL Series

Universal CL Series branch piping designed for efficient refrigerant distribution and installation flexibility.

“Precise Branching. Controlled Flow. Verified Integrity.”

In a modern VRF/VRV system, refrigerant travels through a complex network of piping before it ever reaches an indoor unit — and how cleanly it splits at each branch point determines how evenly a building actually cools and heats. The 227 Enterprise CL Series Refrigerant Branch Piping Kit is engineered to make that branching point precise and dependable, supporting both R410A and R32 refrigerants for balanced distribution across every zone. Its Universal Multi-Step design accommodates multiple pipe-size combinations and aligns with major OEM configurations, so selecting the right joint is straightforward and contractors aren’t left carrying a large inventory of branch fittings for every brand and layout.

Every CL Series joint is built from BIS-certified refrigeration-grade copper, with controlled branch geometry and precision chamfered edges that make for cleaner pipe connections and a smoother, faster installation. Before dispatch, each joint is 100% leak-tested and pressure-tested at 5.2 MPa to confirm connection integrity, cutting the risk of leak-related callbacks on site. The series is manufactured to meet Australian Standard AS 4041 and is available with XLPE or NBR insulation for reliable thermal protection and condensation control — bringing together material quality, dimensional accuracy, and installation ease in one branch piping solution suited to everything from straightforward commercial jobs to demanding multi-zone VRF projects.

Why 227 Enterprise

The CL Series of refrigerant branch piping kits from 227 Enterprise are high performance kits that provide balanced, efficient flow distribution in current VRF systems. Its U-type internal design and multi-step sizing ensures a consistent refrigerant distribution to each interior unit. And individual hydrostatic testing at 5.2 MPa supports a true leak-proof guarantee rather than a spot-checked one. 227 Enterprise is a manufacturer, not a vendor, of the CL Series, thus we own the entire process, from raw copper to final pressure testing. This provides full traceability on every batch for consultants, contractors and OEM partners.

The CL Series is designed to align with the model numbers and dimensions used by prominent VRF manufacturers so it slips into existing project specifications and Single Line Diagrams without redesign, making approvals simpler and cutting the stock a contractor has to stock across brands. The CL Series is a reliable, durable option for VRF/VRV projects of any size — from single-building retrofits to multi-tower developments. With RoHS and CE compliance, XLPE/NBR insulation to prevent condensation, and a technical support team to help match the right model to your SLD or BOQ.

Product Faqs

How to choose the suitable CL Series VRF Y Branch?

It’s easy to choose the right CL Series VRF Y Branch. 227 Enterprise’s CL Series Y Branches are OEM-compliant, with model numbers that are intended to meet major VRF manufacturers’ specifications. You just have to check the Model Number specified in your Single Line Diagram (SLD) or Project Drawing or Equipment Schedule and select the relevant branch joint. If you're not sure about the exact model, we may also help you to find the suitable model for you by asking you about your system.

Why is the 227 Enterprise CL series superior than traditional VRF branch joints?

The optimised U-type flow path of the CL Series makes refrigerant flow more smoothly through the branch joint. The proposed geometry is more beneficial to traditional designs by reducing unnecessary pressure loss and by providing a more balanced distribution of refrigerant between the connected indoor units. The outcome is a branch junction that leads to smoother system functioning and greater overall VRF performance.

What insulation options are available for CL Series?

The CL Series VRF Y Branch is available in either XLPE or NBR insulation, allowing you to select the best option for your project’s needs. Factory insulation reduces heat transmission, controls condensation and protects the branch junction during installation and operation. It also reduces the need for separate insulating work on site, saving installation time.

227 Enterprise CL Series Y Branch Price How much is it?

The CL Series VRF Y Branch does not have one set price, as pricing is influenced by the model, pipe size, insulation type, order quantity, and the current price of copper. Copper prices fluctuate very frequently. We produce quotations on the basis of your actual BOQ, model requirements or project quantity. Please let us know your requirements and we will give you with an estimate for the project.

What quality control checks are done on each CL Series joint before dispatch?

Quality is tested on the individual joint as opposed to random sampling of batches. To help avoid oxidation inside the copper pipe, the junction is nitrogen-purged throughout the production process. Each final CL Series VRF joint is pressure tested to 5.2 MPa to guarantee leak tightness before shipping. The extra examination gives installers and project teams added assurance that the joint is ready for reliable field installation.
