Customized VRF/VRV Headers

Custom VRF headers with T-drilled, silver-brazed joints, nitrogen-purged and pressure-tested, ready to install as delivered.
227 Enterprise Pvt. Ltd. offers Custom VRF Headers for new VRF and HVAC systems to suit a variety of project needs. Available in 2-port to 8-port configurations, these headers can be adapted to a broad variety of refrigerant piping designs. Manufactured from high quality de-oxidised copper. Pipe sizes from 15.88 mm up to 38.10 mm. Main pipes vary from 12.7 mm to 50.8 mm and dispersed out pipes vary from 9.52 mm to 22.22 mm. Every braze point on the primary and secondary pipes is T-Drilled to a height of 1.2 mm to 1.5 mm, and then joined with 5% silver brazing for clean, leak-tight connections. You can make it to your port length in a secondary pipe so the header fits your layout and your team doesn’t have to bend the layout around it.
Every bespoke VRF Header is meticulously cleaned, nitrogen-purged and silver-brazed for durable, leak-proof joints and years of reliable service. 227 Enterprise Pvt. Ltd. also provides tailor-made NBR and XLPE insulation that helps reduce heat loss, avoid condensation of moisture and improve energy efficiency by preserving HVAC components in demanding commercial and industrial applications, for maximum system efficiency.

Why 227 Enterprise

227 Enterprise Pvt. Ltd. is a manufacturer and supplier of VRF headers customized for HVAC projects worldwide. “We don’t have a fixed catalog to sell. Each header is tailored to the task it is going into: the OEM’s standards, the project’s requirements and the conditions on site. The outcome is even distribution of the refrigerant, constant performance of the system and a header that stays on running for years. This is why consultants, EPC contractors, HVAC manufacturers and commercial installers come to us when a regular part just won’t do.

Product Faqs

What are Customized VRF/VRV Headers, and when are they required?

A header is a copper manifold that takes refrigerant from one main pipe and sends it out to several indoor units at once. A Y-joint splits the line in two; a header can feed four, six or eight units from a single point. A standard header works for most layouts. A customized one is needed when the job doesn't fit the standard: an unusual number of outlets, a tight ceiling void, a specific gap between ports, outlets facing a particular direction, or a system brand with its own dimensional rules. We build the header around your layout, so your installers fit it as it is, with no cutting or reworking on site.

Can 227 Enterprise manufacture VRF/VRV Headers according to customer drawings and specifications?

Yes, and a good share of the headers we make each year start as a customer's drawing. Send us the drawing, or simply the main line size, the number of outlets, the outlet sizes, the spacing between them and any insulation needs. Our engineers will check it for manufacturability and come back with a quote, plus suggestions if a small change would make the part stronger or easier to install. Once you approve the sample, every repeat order is made to exactly the same process.

What pipe sizes and outlet configurations are available for Customized VRF/VRV Headers?

Because each header is made to order, we aren't limited to a fixed catalogue. The main body, the outlet sizes, the number of outlets, the spacing and the outlet direction are all set to your requirement, in either metric or inch sizes. Outlets can be the same size or a mix of sizes on one header, and we can add end caps or reducers where your design calls for them. Share your system details and we will confirm what's possible.

How do Customized VRF/VRV Headers improve refrigerant flow and HVAC system performance?

A header made for the system splits refrigerant evenly between the indoor units, so each one gets the flow it was designed for. That means steadier cooling and heating across every room, rather than some units running short. Fewer field joints also means fewer places for a leak to start. Every header we make is brazed with 5% silver brazing rods under a nitrogen purge. The silver content gives a strong, leak-tight joint that holds up to years of pressure and temperature changes, and the nitrogen keeps the inside free of oxide scales that could block valves or harm the compressor. Each header is then pressure-tested at 5.2 MPa before it leaves our plant.

What insulation options are available for Customized VRF/VRV Headers?

We supply headers with NBR or XLPE insulation, shaped to fit the header closely so there are no gaps for condensation to form. NBR is flexible and handles moisture well; XLPE is light and keeps its shape over time. If your project has its own thickness, density or fire-rating requirement, tell us and we will match it.
